    This sunscreen is great, because it goes on clear, and it’s really light, it almost feels like there’s nothing there!

    Unfortunately, my dermatologist has said that SPF 30 is not strong enough for my skin, so I switched to an SPF 65 sunscreen, but while I used this, I had no problems.

    This is the best chemical-free sunscreen I have found. I’ve tried many, many physical sunscreens that are chemical-free, but this is the one I stick with. Yes, it’s stickier and whiter than chemical sunscreens, but once it soaks in, it’s perfect (and worth it!). The sun protection is also very good. Overall, this is a GREAT sunscreen. Don’t hesitate to get it!

    It works well however it goes on thick, so it’s not as easy to spread around as Neutrogena, for instance.

    My eyes are REALLY sensitive to sunscreen. I’ve tried so many “sensitive” sunscreen products but to no avail. Itching, burning, stinging, ahhhh! But then I tried Vanicream. This stuff is very moisturizing-a bit too much for acne break out areas of the face but great for the eyes and body. I use it on my eyes every day. And when I go to the beach I cover my body with it and, even though I go in the ocean, there’s no sunburn. I know it’s not supposed to be water proof but it seems to stay on. I am pale and freckly and I live in Southern California so I am very experienced with sunscreens. Also, my husband has a photosensitive allergic reaction to most sunscreens (think of the allergic reaction in “Hitch” and that’s my husband after a day of hiking-yikes!) but he has had no reaction to Vanicream. He complains about having to rub it in so long, lazy bum. (;

    I give this stuff 5 stars!

    I have developed an allergy to chemical sunscreens, so I tried this. It does not cause me to get red and puffy and itchy, but it is a bit sticky. Given enough time, it soaks in a little, but it is difficult to wear it under makeup. It does keep me from burning if I’m out in the sun, so I guess that’s the most important thing!
